The embodiment of this application provides a laser marking method based on a mobile terminal. The method comprises the following steps: the mobile terminal extracts a control parameter from the cloud server; the mobile terminal extracts material data and edits the material data; the mobile terminal generates a material processing instruction and sends the material processing instruction to the cloud server; the mobile terminal receives target data returned by the cloud server; the target data is generated by using the edited material data after the cloud server extracts the edited material data from the mobile terminal according to the material processing instruction; the mobile terminal adopts the target data and generates a marking instruction; and the mobile terminal sends the control parameter and the marking instruction to a laser marker. By adopting the method provided in the embodiment of the application, a user acquires the control parameter which controls the laser marker when the laser marker is marking a product, from the cloud server through the mobile terminal; the mobile terminal sends the control parameter to the laser marker; and thus, the user does not need to set the control parameter of the laser marker so as to reduce the operations of the user.
