Embodiment approach 1

[0039] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 , the relay assembly 10 of the first embodiment includes: a control unit 2, a switching circuit 3, a power supply circuit 9, a first input circuit 14 and a second input circuit 15, a load linkage and reset circuit 17, Auxiliary output circuit 18 and indicator light circuit 19 . The first input circuit 14 receives input from the first external input switch 12 , the second input circuit 15 receives input from the second external input switch 13 , and the load linkage and reset circuit 17 receives input from the external reset switch 16 . The external power supply 24 (DC power supply) supplies power to each part of the relay module 10 including the power supply circuit 9 connected to the control part 2 .

[0040] control part 2 as Figure 1B with Figure 1C As shown, it is composed of one or two microcomputers (microcomputers) that function as processors that execute programs stored in the memory.

Embodiment approach 2

[0071] As shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9 , the relay module 10 according to Embodiment 2 includes: a control unit 2 , a switching circuit 3 , a power supply circuit 9 , a first input circuit 14 and a second input circuit 15 , and a load linkage and reset circuit 17 , auxiliary output circuit 18 and indicator light circuit 19.

Embodiment approach 1、2

[0101] In the above description, one or two microcomputers that execute programs are used in the control unit 2, but the present invention is not limited thereto. It is also possible to use three or more microcomputers in the control unit 2 . In addition, it is also possible to configure the control unit 2 as hardware by combining circuits having various functions.

[0102] As shown above, this relay assembly has a switching circuit and a control unit. The switching circuit includes more than one normally open contact and more than one normally closed contact. When the contact is in a closed state, it becomes a non-energized state to the load, and when the normally open contact is in a closed state and the normally closed contact is in an open state, it becomes a energized state to the load. The control circuit controls the switching circuit. In the non-energized state, the control unit sends a diagnostic signal to the normally closed contact, detects the return status of the s...

Abstract

The invention provides a relay assembly and a control method thereof, aiming at improving the monitoring reliability of a normally closed contact in the relay assembly. In the non-energized state, a diagnostic signal is sent to the normally closed contacts (b1, b2), and the detection of the return status of the sent diagnostic signal is carried out. If the result of the detection does not meet the given conditions, the diagnostic signal is sent again signal, and perform re-inspection of the return status of the retransmitted diagnostic signal, and determine that it is normal when the result of the re-inspection satisfies a given condition.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to relay assemblies. Background technique [0002] A mechanical switching element having a normally open contact (a contact) and a normally closed contact (b contact) is provided in a relay unit (also referred to as a relay unit) for switching between energization and de-energization of a load. [0003] prior art literature [0004] patent documents [0005] Patent Document 1: European Patent EP1202313A1 (published on October 23, 2000) [0006] Patent Document 2: Japanese Utility Model Publication Publication No. 5-55435 (published on July 23, 1993) [0007] In such a relay unit, the normally closed contact can be monitored (diagnosed) based on the state of the signal sent to the normally closed contact when it is not energized, but there is a problem as follows: Temporary reasons or recoverable reasons are judged as abnormal. Contents of the invention [0008] One of the objects of the present invention is to impro...
