The method comprises the following steps of (1) determining safety state evaluation items for the subway shield tunnel structure; (2) respectively classifying all evaluation items according to disease features and damage degree of the subway shield tunnel structure; (3) classifying a segmental safety state of the subway shield tunnel structure; (4) classifying and evaluating the safety state of the whole tunnel structure according to the result obtained in the step (3). Compared with the prior art, the method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the structural safety state can be simply and conveniently judged according to actual disease conditions by means of reasonably classifying the safety state of the subway shield tunnel structure, so that a basis and a guarantee are provided for timely and opportunely adopting reasonable maintenance measures.
