Problems solved by technology

However, in the event of a screw failure, it is likewise impossible to remove the remainder of the screw from the hole in the same way as already described above for the dental abutment
Damage to the screws thus renders the finished prosthesis unusable
However, the outer shape of the finished prosthesis is constructed for each patient through an often lengthy and difficult process
Practitioners are thus forced to manufacture new finished dental prostheses, which is time consuming and expensive
[0006] The problem is even worse in the case of penetrating multi-tooth prostheses intended to be received in multiple dental implants and having multiple capture screws for this purpose: damage to one screw may render the entire prosthesis unusable

Embodiment Construction

[0070] Figures 1 to 5 Described is intended to be used for making assembly 100 according to the present invention (can be found in Figure 8 , 9 An example of an axial limit stop device 1 of a specific embodiment of the assembly 100) is seen in more detail in and 22. The axial limit stop 1 is in one piece and comprises an annular ring 2 having rotational symmetry about a central axis I-I and extending between a proximal end 2a and a distal end 2b along The central axis I-I extends. The two corner segments 3 and 4 form an arc between a first end 3a and 4a connected to the distal end 2b of the annular ring 2 and a second free end 3b and 4b . By being permanently resilient back into the protruding position, the corner segments 3 and 4 can be deformed, starting from their first ends 3a and 4a, in the retracted position (in Figure 4 shown in dashed lines) and at least one protruding location (in Figures 1 to 5 (shown in solid line) partially radially moves between.

Abstract

An assembly comprises a componenet, a one-piece axial limit stop device, an annular ring and at least one angular portion developing in an arc between a first end, joined to the distal end of the annular ring, and a second, free end. The angular portion is in part movable from its first end, in a transverse plane perpendicular to the central axis, between a retracted position and at least one protruding position, being elastically returned permanently to the protruding position. In the retracted position, the angular portion is included within the volume of a cylinder continuing the outer cylindrical surface of the annular ring. In the protruding position, the free end of the angular portion extends radially beyond the volume of the cylinder continuing the outer cylindrical surface of the annular ring. The component bore has a specific inner geometry allowing the axial limit stop device to be easily attached and reliably fixed, while at the same time allowing easy detachment and extraction of the axial limit stop device in order to permit the removal of the element in the event of the latter sustaining damage.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an assembly comprising a component and an axial limit stop intended to be placed in a bore (cavity) of said component to place a component remain in the hole. The field of application of the invention is in particular the field of dentistry, the object of which is to retain a penetrating screw in a hole of a dental prosthesis intended to be attached to a dental implant. Background technique [0002] Document EP 0 801 544 discloses a dental abutment intended to be attached and fixed to a dental implant, which is itself intended to be inserted into the maxilla or mandible of a patient. The dental abutment generally receives a finished dental prosthesis made of ceramic or metal. The dental abutment has a continuous hole in which is arranged an axial limit stop intended to guarantee the axial retention of the screw captured in the hole of the abutment. The threaded shank of the screw is intended to be received by screwing in an ...
