Problems solved by technology

However, there are still many factors that affect the echo signal in practical applications, such as the shape, material, motion state of obstacles, the user's motion state, body posture, etc., which will affect the echo signal. It has not been considered in the method, and the current level of technology cannot fully consider all the above factors
Therefore, the main function of the above-mentioned blind guides is the front obstacle warning device, which cannot perceive the detailed information of the surrounding environment through ultrasonic waves like bats and dolphins.

Embodiment

[0081] The present invention develops an echo-location guide system in the ultrasonic frequency band. The hardware includes an MCU (MicroController Unit) control and signal processing unit, an acoustic emission unit and its driving circuit fixed on the top of the user's head, an acoustic receiving unit and its front end. It is composed of amplification-filtering and AD conversion circuit, audio signal generation module, etc. The specific structure is as follows: figure 2 shown.

[0082] The ultrasonic transmitting unit and receiving unit, as well as the preamplifying and filtering circuits for receiving signals, are fixed on a helmet that can be worn on the head of a blind person, collectively called the acoustic transceiver helmet. The transmitting unit contains four transmitting transducers, which are respectively installed in four directions: front, back, left front and right front. The transmitting transducer adopts a broadband ultrasonic transmitter, and the working fre...

Abstract

The invention provides a brand-new ultrasonic echo positioning blindness-guiding instrument of a frequency-domain projection type, wherein the device is designed for blind people; and the core of the device is signal processing. All the former designs are characterized in that ultrasonic echo signals are processed; obstacle information is extracted; and the information is fed back to a user via a voice frequency mode or a vibration mode. Due to limited recognition and analysis capabilities of a signal processing unit, the former inventions can only be used to detect front obstacles, but cannot be used to sense surrounding environmental information. The equipment provided by the invention is characterized in that a signal processing unit converts echo signals of an ultrasonic frequency band into a sound frequency band which can be heard by human ears via a frequency-domain projection form; frequency reduction is conducted to a sound signal, and the sound signal is stretched and extended in a time domain at the same time; and the signal is directed sent to the human ears via earphones. A human brain auditory center is a real signal processor, wherein the auditory system analyzes intensities, directions and frequency spectrums of echo signals of both ears so as to analyze and judge surrounding environmental information. Through use and wearing of the equipment, an echo positioning ability of the human ear auditory system can be developed step by step, and people can sense surrounding environments like bats and dolphins.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a frequency-domain projection type ultrasonic echo positioning guide device, which belongs to the technical field of ultrasonic blind guide Background technique [0002] Since the blind and partially sighted people cannot obtain the surrounding environment information through vision, they can only perceive the surrounding environment through hearing and touch. The traditional method is to judge whether there are obstacles around by the touch of the blind guide stick and the knocking sound of the blind guide stick and its echo. With the advancement of science and technology, a blind guide device that uses optical photography combined with image recognition technology has recently appeared. What this patent relates to is an ultrasonic guide for the blind. [0003] As early as the 1970s, New Zealand scholar Leslie Kay gave the design of the ultrasonic blind guide device. He modulated the distance of the detected obstacle into ac...
