The device comprises a test box, colored soil, a measurement system and a tunnel excavation simulating device. The test box is a visual tempered glass box, and the colored soil is contained in the test box. The tunnel excavation simulating device comprises a drawing instrument, an inner pipe and an outer pipe. The measurement system comprises a sedimentation assembly, a displacement sensor, a data acquisition instrument and a computer. According to the stratum displacement measurement device and method, soil displacement is released to generate stratum losses for tunnel excavation simulation, and direct monitoring on stratum displacement at different deep burying positions is achieved by arranging a colored soil layer in the tempered glass box.
