The method includes determining the access point of the energy storage device in a power distribution network under the condition that a distributed photovoltaic power generation system is connected to the power distribution network; determining the reconstructed lines in the power distribution network; determining technical measure combinations being divided into a technical measure combination using the energy storage device and a technical measure combination being free of the energy storage device at least based on the technical measures of power grid line reconstruction, power cutting, and energy storage device investment; determining the costs of the technical measure combination using the energy storage device and the technical measure combination being free of the energy storage device; and evaluating the value of the energy storage device in supporting the distributed photovoltaic power generation system connected to the power distribution network at the determined cost.
