Abstract

The invention provides a method and device for processing a message. The method comprises the steps of receiving a first message transmitted to a server by a client, wherein the first message is encrypted by the client through an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol; and according to a pre-configured SSL unloading strategy, if the first message is matched with the SSL unloading strategy, then executing SSL unloading on the first message, and then forwarding the first message to the server, wherein the SSL unloading strategy is used for limiting an unloading rule that needs to be matched when executing SSL unloading on the received message.
