A method for determining the sowing time of an early season rice includes the following steps: (1), determining a sowing temperature period of the early season rice; (2), drawing a day average temperature-time curve graph according to weather change of fine days, cloudy days and rainy days in the7-th to 10-th day after spring festival so as to acquire the temperature change rhythm of an early season rice production area; (3), drawing 5-day slide average temperature curve into the day average temperature-time curve graph of the step (2), and analyzing a relation between a early spring temperature actual change rhythm and a early spring temperature theoretical change rhythm; and (4) using a local common sowing time forecast as a reference when the local day average temperature is close to the early season rice sowing temperature, and then determining the current year early season rice sowing time based on the law of the curve graph acquired in the step (3).
