Abstract

The invention provides rigidity test equipment of an airbag cover plate. The rigidity test equipment comprises a force loader, a laser range finder, a sample piece clamping tool, a computer and a finger simulation tool, wherein the finger simulation tool is installed on the loading end of the force loader and is used for simulating a finger to press an airbag cover, the computer is used for receiving a force value output by the force loader and displacement deformation output by the laser range finder, and the sample piece clamping tool is used for fixing the airbag cover plate. A test method comprises the steps of installing the finger simulation tool on the force loader, selecting an area, which is frequently pressed, from a sample piece of the cover plate, applying load to the selected area by the finger tool, recording the displacement deformation of the cover plate by the laser range finder, and outputting a force-displacement curve graph by the computer according to force and displacement which are output by the force loader and the laser range finder.
