The smelting method comprises the steps of drying the antimony concentrates so as to obtain dry antimony concentrates, performing ball-milling treatment on the dry antimony concentrates so as to obtain antimony concentrate powder, and performing oxidation smelting on the antimony concentrate powder by utilizing an oxidation smelting furnace so as to obtain high liquid antimony slags, wherein the antimony concentrate powder, rich oxygen and pulverized coal are sprayed into a molten pool from the side wall of the oxidation smelting furnace, fluxes are added from the top of the oxidation smelting furnace, and reduction smelting is performed on the high liquid antimony slags in a side-blown reduction furnace so as to obtain liquid antimony and reducing slags.
