Abstract

The present invention discloses a pressure adjusting device and an inkjet recording device capable of accurately detecting an origin position of a rotation shaft of a pulse motor and capable of using a space-saving switch. The pressure adjusting device includes a casing having a cylinder, a piston, a pulse motor, a conversion part and an origin switch. The origin switch has a first contact member, a positioning member and a second contact member. The first contact member has a fixed side contact portion. The positioning member has an opening portion for exposing the contact portion of the first contact member. The second contact member has a fixed end on one end side and a movable contact portion which is arranged on the other end side and is opposed to the contact portion of the first contact member through an opening portion. The movable contact portion is pressed in a direction to abut against the fixed side contact portion by the piston and the movable contact portion abuts against the fixed side contact portion when the piston is moved to the origin position with the movement of the piston from the position other than the origin position to the origin position, thereby detecting the origin position.
