According to the invention, the current limiting value of the load is changed in real time according to output voltage change of the adapter; when the output voltage of the adapter is reduced to the full-load working point voltage of the adapter, the output voltage of the adapter is increased by reducing the current limiting value of the load; and the adapter is allowed to work in the constant voltage mode. Thus, the adapter is prevented from working in a constant current mode in a long term caused by the change of the load current, so safety and reliability of the system are ensured.
