Abstract

The invention discloses a switching converter. The switching converter contains a boost or buck switching converter. The switching converter includes a control circuit. The control circuit includes a ramp generation circuit, an error amplifier and a calibration circuit. The ramp generation circuit filters the square-wave voltage at a switch node of the switching converter so as to generate a ramp signal. The calibration circuit filters the ramp signal so as to generate a calibration signal. The generated calibration signal can lower the DC working range of the error amplifier so as to reduce power consumption of a system. Since the calibration signal is obtained by filtering the ramp signal, the circuit has simple form.
