Abstract

The invention provides a VXLAN message forwarding method and device. The method comprises the steps that after a single-broadcast message sent by a first VM to a second VM is received, a preset MAC table is searched for a corresponding MAC table item according to the MAC address of the second VM; when the corresponding MAC table item is sought, the single-broadcast message is capsulated with a VXLAN message header based on the MAC table item, wherein the VXLAN message header carries a second interface index and the VLAN ID of the second VM; the capsulated single-broadcast message is sent to opposite-end VTEP equipment through a VXLAN tunnel so that the single-broadcast message can be sent to the second VM after the single-broadcast message is decapsulated through the opposite-end VTEP equipment.
