The technical scheme of the invention is as follows: the process comprises the steps of weighing paeonia suffruticosa seeds, crushing the paeonia suffruticosa seeds, then, sieving the paeonia suffruticosa seed powder with a sieve with the pore size of 40 meshes, putting the sieve underflow into a subcritical extraction tank, carrying out extraction under set extraction conditions by adopting butane as an extraction solvent, enabling an extract and an extractant to flow through a desorption kettle, carrying out depressurizing and heating-up so as to change the extractant into gas, subjecting the gas to instant compression so as to obtain liquid, then, enabling the liquid to flow through an extraction kettle again so as to carry out circular extraction on the material, and carrying out reduced-pressure separation after the extraction is completed, thereby obtaining the paeonia suffruticosa seed oil, wherein the extraction conditions are as follows: the temperature is 50 DEG C, the number of times of extraction is 3, the pressure intensity of extraction is 0.5MPa, and the extraction time is 25 minutes.
