Abstract

The invention provides a power grid fault detection method based on a change point detection technology. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, collecting real-time data of state variables of a power grid through multiple data sources, preprocessing the real-time data, and selecting measured data of the state variables of nodes to build time sequences; secondly, analyzing the time sequences by use of a change point detection technology based on RuLSIF, calculating the isolated value based on density ratio for the preprocessed data, and getting the change point detection value of state variable change related to each node of the power grid; thirdly, comparing the change point detection values according to set evaluation indicators, and evaluating the location or orientation of a fault; and finally, collecting the three-phase current and voltage of each node, getting the positive-sequence, negative-sequence and zero-sequence fault components during failure by use of a symmetrical component method, and judging the type of the fault through a sequence component phase selection method. According to the invention, the spatial and temporal change characteristics of the state variables of the power grid after failure are detected with the aid of the change point detection technology, and thus, the faulty node, the affected scope and the unaffected position can be judged.
