Aiming at the problem of peak shaving probably brought by an ultrahigh direct current accessed to the power grid, two indexes of peak shaving margin and abandoned power quantity are introduced, a set of multi-target segmented estimation method is proposed for peak shaving conditions in different months according to an ultrahigh direct current running mode, a mathematical model taking maximum peak shaving margin and minimum abandoned power quantity as targets is constructed, the model respectively utilizes the indexes to estimate the influence of ultrahigh direct current access on peak shaving balance of the power grid according to a low-load peak shaving surplus condition, and the peak shaving running forecast method considering the ultrahigh direct current access for the power grid is proposed.
