Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-channel audio system capable of tracking a user and equipment with the multi-channel audio system. The multi-channel audio system comprises multiple loudspeakers, an image sensor, a sound sensor and a controller; a predetermined first relative position is located between the image sensor and the sound sensor, and the controller comprises a loudspeaker position detection unit, a user position detection unit, a position fusion unit, a delay compensation calculating unit and a delay adjusting unit, wherein the loudspeaker position detection unit is used for determining second relative positions of the loudspeakers on the basis of predetermined audio signals which are detected by the sound sensor and come from the loudspeakers, the user position detection unit is used for determining a third relative position of the user on the basis of a user image detected by the image sensor, the position fusion unit is used for fusing the first relative position, the second relative positions and the third relative position to determine a fourth relative position of the user to the loudspeakers, the delay compensation calculating unit is used for calculating delay compensation values of the loudspeakers on the basis of the fourth relative position, and the delay adjusting unit is used for adjusting the phase positions of audio signals of the loudspeakers according to the delay compensation values.
