The method comprises that a first matched object picture combination is determined; and according to similarities between object pictures in a picture library and matched object pictures included by the first matched object picture combination as well as association information of the corresponding object pictures whose similarity satisfies a specific condition, a second matched object picture combination is generated. According to the method, the second matched object picture combination can be generated automatically on the basis of any first matched object picture combination, thus, the number of the matched object picture combinations can be added, and a server can provided more reference information for users on the basis of the added matched object picture combination.
