Abstract

The invention provides a control valve for a swash-plate type variable displacement compressor and can enable the variable displacement compressor to reach the maximum working displacement fast to improve the vehicle use comfort of drivers and passengers. The control valve for the swash-plate type variable displacement compressor comprises a valve body and a valve element, wherein the valve body is provided with air passages which respectively communicate with an exhaust port, a suction port and a swash plate chamber of the compressor, the exhaust port communicates with the swash plate chamber through a valve port, the valve element further comprises a pressure relief channel used for enabling the swash plate chamber to communicate with the suction port, when the valve port is closed by means of the valve element, the pressure relief channel communicates; and when the valve port is opened by means of the valve element, the pressure relief channel is cut off. According to the invention, one pressure relief channel is added on the valve element for the swash plate chamber to speed up pressure relief of the swash plate chamber to improve the compressor displacement so as to enhance the refrigeration efficiency after a vehicle air conditioner is turned on and improve the vehicle use comfort of the drivers and passengers.
