Abstract

The present invention discloses a unidirectional body wave transmission method for the gyromagnetic photonic crystal of a honeycomb structure. The method comprises the steps of S1, selecting the gyromagnetic photonic crystal lattices of a honeycomb structure, wherein the gyromagnetic photonic crystal lattices of the honeycomb structure comprise two staggered triangular lattices; S2, realizing the spatial symmetry breaking by utilizing cylinders of different sizes in the staggered lattices; S3, applying a bias magnetic field on the cylinders, and realizing the time-reversal symmetry breaking by utilizing the external bias magnetic field. Based on the unidirectional body wave transmission method for the gyromagnetic photonic crystal of the honeycomb structure honeycomb structure, the spatial symmetry breaking is realized by cylinders of different sizes in the staggered lattices of the gyromagnetic photonic crystal of a two-dimensional honeycomb lattice structure. Meanwhile, through applying an external bias magnetic field, the time-reversal symmetry breaking is realized. As a result, the non-reciprocal transmission problem of the unidirectional body waves of the gyromagnetic photonic crystal is solved. The whole transmission process is stable, and the incident angle of the non-reciprocal transmission is wider.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of unidirectional bulk wave transmission of photonic crystals, in particular to a method for unidirectional bulk wave transmission of gyromagnetic photonic crystals with a honeycomb structure. Background technique [0002] In optics, space-reversal symmetry interacts with time-reversal symmetry to constrain the physical properties of the wave vector k. In order to have a significant non-reciprocal transmission, when the space and time reversal symmetry are broken at the same time, the non-reciprocal photonic crystal can produce a single-pass phenomenon, that is, ω(k)≠ω(-k) , k, -k represent a pair of relative transmission wave vectors. For example, under the action of an external saturated magnetic field in a gyromagnetic photonic crystal, the diagonal term of the magnetic permeability has an imaginary part, which breaks the time-reversal symmetry and produces a unidirectional boundary state. In addition, ...
