Abstract

Provided are: a non-destructive lithium precipitation detection method capable of detecting lithium precipitation in real-time in an environment where a secondary battery is actually used; a secondary battery charging method and apparatus capable of charging, by using the non-destructive lithium precipitation detection method, a secondary battery under a condition in which lithium precipitation does not occur; and a secondary battery system capable of detecting the state of a secondary battery by using the non-destructive lithium precipitation detection method. The lithium precipitation detection method according to the present invention is a method for detecting the lithium precipitation in an anode in real-time by observing, when charging a secondary battery, a change in voltage of the battery according to SOC, and determines the point at which the rate of increase in voltage of the battery is slowed down to be the point at which lithium precipitation occurs.
