The automatic construction device for the knowledge base comprises a corpus acquiring module, a corpus classifying module and a corpus storing module, wherein the corpus acquiring module is used for acquiring a raw corpus which comprises a plurality of sentences; the corpus classifying module is used for classifying the raw corpus acquired by the corpus acquiring module according to a preset rule to obtain secondary corpuses corresponding to various classes; and the corpus storing module is used for storing the secondary corpuses corresponding to the various classes into the corresponding storage regions in the knowledge base according to the classifying result of the corpus classifying module. The acquired raw corpus is classified automatically through the corpus classifying module, the classified secondary corpuses are stored into the storage regions of the corresponding classes, the raw corpus does not need to be classified manually, labors and materials are greatly reduced, and the establishment efficiency of the knowledge base is improved.
