Abstract

The invention relates to a method and system for determining an optimal path in SDN (Software Defined Network). The SDN comprises an SDN controller, an access equipment and an SDN switch. A link is detected by the SDN controller, the access equipment and the SDN switch, so as to determine the optimal path of the service in the SDN. The SDN controller comprises an SDN communication module, an SDN communication extension module, a detection module, a topology module, a service module, a service path computing module and other extensible service modules; the SDN switch comprises a standard SDN switch function module, an SDN communication extension module and a detection module; the access equipment includes a detection module. By adoption of the invention, various kinds of scenes can be adapted; and aiming at different scenes, one optimal path can be selected from a plurality of presetting optimal path algorithms.
