Problems solved by technology

However, due to the great difference in imaging band characteristics between infrared and visible light images, the two kinds of information are likely to interfere with each other when they are fused.
The existing image fusion technology does not have a corresponding fusion strategy for this kind of interference, so it is necessary to design a fusion strategy for this, so that the fusion image can obtain better visual effects and facilitate human observation

Abstract

The invention discloses an infrared and visible light image fusion method based on a multi-scale contrast ratio. On the basis of the multi-scale contrast ratio obtained by calculation, according to different decomposition detail ranges of each scale, the fusion weight of an infrared image and a visual light image in each layer of scale information is independently determined, a corresponding multi-scale information fusion strategy is designed, and therefore, an infrared and visible light fusion image has a better visual effect. A contrast sensitivity function which represents human visual characteristics is combined to extract the multi-scale contrast ratio which exhibits visual sensitivity, visual sensitivity information is highlighted, so that the fusion image has a better visual effect, and the perception of an observer for a scene and the quick identification ability of the observer for an important target can be enhanced. By use of the method, while the contrast sensitivity function which represents human visual characteristics is combined, the mask effect of a visual contrast ratio is considered, visual sensitivity characteristics are effectively utilized to guide a fusion process, and the visual effect of the fusion image is further enhanced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of multi-sensor image fusion, in particular to an infrared and visible light image fusion method based on multi-scale contrast. Background technique [0002] Image fusion technology is to fuse the same scene information obtained by different imaging sensors into one image according to certain rules, so that the generated fusion image can simultaneously present the complementary information obtained by different sensors, so as to provide automatic recognition processing for machines or human eye observation. Provide more comprehensive and rich image information input. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of sensor technology and computer computing power, the application of multi-sensor image fusion technology has become more and more extensive, especially in the field of military and remote sensing, image fusion technology has been widely valued and developed. In civilian applications, multi-sens...
