Abstract

A two-step phase shift algorithm based on structured light contrast optimization comprises two processes consisting of two-step phase shift phase calculation and contrast optimization. In an initial phase calculation process, data of two fringe patterns are employed to obtain reflectivity distribution, two solutions of folding phases are calculated, and the initial phase distribution is constructed and sensitive pixel points are marked through discrimination of the solutions; based on the linear characteristics of absolute phases, the joint optimization of the phases and the contrast is employed to obtain more accurate structured light contrast at the positions of the mark points; and the corrected structured light contrast is subjected to global diffusion, and phase calculation is performed again to obtain more accurate phase information. The two-step phase shift algorithm based on the structured light contrast optimization brings the influence of the ambient light into the changing of the structured light contrast so as to simplify the unknown quantity in the phase shift, reduce the time required by projection and collection of phase shift images and obtain more accurate phase information, the contrast optimization is only performed in a local neighborhood, and the global inconsistency and the calculating efficiency of the contrast are considered.
