Abstract

The invention discloses a hybrid power system and driving method thereof. The hybrid power system comprises a double stator-rotor motor, an engine, a one-way overrunning clutch, and a transmission mechanism provided with a clutch. The double stator-rotor motor comprises a first motor and a second motor. The input end of the first motor is connected with the output end of the engine. The output end of the first motor is connected with the one-way overrunning clutch. The input end of the second motor is connected with the one-way overrunning clutch. The output end of the second motor is connected with the transmission mechanism. The output ends of two motors are connected or detached by the one-way overrunning clutch. Because the input end of the first motor is connected with the engine, the engine and two motor can execute the power mode switching by using the one-way overrunning clutch, and the structure is compact.
