According to the method, an OTG function of the USB interface is controlled to be started or shut down through a control switch on an ID pin in the USB interface; only after OTG detection is triggered can the control switch be switched off to start the OTG function; and the USB interface cannot supply power to OTG equipment unless it is detected that the OTG equipment is connected to the USB interface. By use of the technical scheme in the embodiment, power cannot be supplied to the OTG equipment unless the OTG equipment is connected to the USB interface, therefore, electrolytic corrosion caused by water inflow when the USB interface is in a power supply normally-open state is avoided, and water resistance processing of the USB interface and particularly a USB interface supporting the OTG function is realized under the condition of not increasing peripheral and hardware cost.
