Abstract

The invention provides an authentication method and device for an access control system. The method comprises the steps: carrying out voice recognition on an acquired audio stream, so as to obtain voice contents of the audio stream, wherein the audio stream is generated by a target object to be authenticated; taking the voice contents as object identification of the target object, and acquiring template voice print features corresponding to the object identification from pre-stored object registration information if the pre-stored object registration information comprises the object identification; carrying out voice print identification on the audio stream, so as to obtain voice print features of the audio stream; comparing the voice print features of the audio stream and the template voice print features, and confirming that the target object passes authentication if a comparison result meets authentication conditions.
