The method comprises the following steps of receiving a parking space reservation request sent by a user terminal; acquiring at least one parking lot which meets the requirements according to the parking space reservation request, and acquiring the array type parking space state diagram of the at least one parking lot; feeding back the array type parking space state diagram of the at least one parking lot to the user terminal; receiving the parking lot and parking space selecting confirmation information sent from the user terminal, modifying the parking space state of a selected parking space to be reserved according to the selecting confirmation information, and updating the parking space state diagram of the corresponding parking lot. According to the invention, the states of parking spaces in the parking lot can be intuitively reflected based on the parking space state diagram. A user can reserve a parking space through operating the parking space state diagram. Meanwhile, the user sends the verification information to the user terminal to control the space lock of the selected parking space. Therefore, the parking space can be conveniently and quickly reserved.
