Abstract

The invention provides a meeting system supporting access of heterogeneous terminals through a cloud platform and an access method thereof. The system operates on the cloud platform. The system comprises an operation maintenance monitoring and management platform, and a bottom IaaS platform, a data storage layer, a business logic layer, message middleware, an access layer and a content aggregation service layer which are arranged from bottom to top in sequence. On the basis of the bottom IaaS platform, virtual meeting rooms are established on the cloud platform through an aggregation portal utilization platform; on the aggregation portal utilization platform, meeting notification messages are sent to heterogeneous user terminals through the data storage layer, the business logic layer, the message middleware and the access layer; when meeting sources from the heterogeneous user terminals are received, meeting bridges with the heterogeneous user terminals are formed; the meeting bridges are connected to the virtual meeting rooms; and the virtual meeting rooms realize real-time meeting communication among the heterogeneous user terminals through the data storage layer, the business logic layer, the message middleware and the access layer.
