Abstract

The invention discloses a network failure processing method and device. A distributed storage system comprises a service network and a storage network which are deployed separately, a monitor (MON) and multiple object storage devices (OSD) are connected to the service network to achieve communication, and the OSDs are further connected to the storage network to achieve communication. The method isapplied to the OSDs and comprises the steps that a storage network connection link between one OSD and the OSD matched with the OSD is detected to obtain link state information of the OSD side; and if it is detected that the link state of the OSD side is abnormal, the daemon process of the OSD is terminated actively, and the OSD is prevented from sending failure information of the OSD matched with the OSD to the MON through the service network. The network failure processing method is applied to the OSDs in the storage system, when one OSD detects that the link state of the OSD side is abnormal, the OSD terminates the daemon process of the OSD and is prevented from falsely reporting failures of the other OSDs, and therefore the OSD shock problem in the storage network is solved.
