The hollow fiber membrane assembly comprises a membrane bundle, an assembly end, a first casting material layer and a second casting materiallayer, wherein the assembly end is connected with the membrane bundle and is used for fixing the membrane bundle; the first casting material layer and the second casting material layer are used for curing the membrane bundle and the assembly end; the membrane bundle is formed by coating the hollow fiber membrane by a protective film; and the assembly end is a shell component of which the cross section is roughly U-shaped, and at least one preset joint is formed in the side wall or bottom of the assembly end. According to the hollow fiber membrane assembly, the cast material layer does not need to be cut, the open end of the hollow fiber membrane in the casting layer can be opened, and the filtration and separation functions are realized. Meanwhile, the root of the hollow fiber membrane has the membrane bundle formed by coating with the protective film, and the hollow fiber membrane exposed at the assembly end is separated from the hardened casting material layer by virtue of the protective film and a barrier material, so that root damage is effectively avoided.
