Abstract

The invention discloses a method for monitoring the state of an OpenStack cluster and an apparatus thereof. The method herein includes the following steps: acquiring the token of a service through anassembly Keystone, wherein the token includes a service access OpenStack interface and the permission for resource access; and based on a configuration file and the token, determining whether the service is executed normally, wherein the configuration file is intended for monitoring whether respective services in the OpenStack cluster is executed normally. The method herein can monitor the state of the OpenStack cluster by determining whether the respective services are executed normally through the configuration file.
