Abstract

The present invention discloses various embodiments for a novel and improved electric motor / generator, and in particular, discloses a motor / generator comprising: radially positioned within a slot of a coil assembly a plurality of coils forming a plurality of magnetic channels for the relative rotational paths of the coil assemblies, wherein the plurality of magnets forming each magnetic channel all have the same poles facing inwardly towards the interior of the magnetic channel or towards the The outside faces away from the inside of the magnetic channel so that each magnetic field of any magnetic channel has the opposite polarity to that of the magnetic field of an adjacent magnetic channel.
