Abstract

The present invention provides a battery cell assembly. The battery cell assembly includes a first frame assembly having a first substantially rectangular ring-shaped frame and a first coupling member. The first coupling member of the first frame assembly has a first tongue portion with first and second resilient arm members. The battery cell assembly further includes a second frame assembly having a second substantially rectangular ring-shaped frame and a first coupling member. The first coupling member of the second frame assembly has a female member with a first aperture such that the firstand second resilient arm members extend through the first aperture and engage an engagement surface defined by the female member of the first coupling member of the second frame assembly.
