The method comprises the following steps: dividing an image to be photographed into M*N sub-areas, and acquiring low-frequency sharpness evaluationvalues corresponding to the M*N sub-areas in a current focusing position; obtaining the number X of the sub-areas, of which a low-frequency focusing curve meets a sharp rise condition, and the numberY of the sub-areas, of which the low-frequency focusing curve meets a sharp decline condition, in each focusing zone through statistics; if X is larger than Y in a certain focusing zone I, continuingto judge whether X is larger or smaller than Y in the focusing zone I+1; and if Y is larger than X in the focusing zone I+1, determining that a focusing position i+1 is a low-frequency sharp focusingposition.
