Embodiment Construction

[0043] now refer to image 3 In a first exemplary arrangement, the valve arrangement 100 includes a control valve 110 having a valve body 112 and a yoke 114 attached to the valve body 112 . image 3 The apparatus 100 shown in is configured to align the actuator shaft of the actuator with the valve stem 116 of the control valve 110 and provide axial support to the valve stem 116 to maintain the valve and actuator alignment. Figure 4 show image 3 The valve device 100 has an additional bracket for mounting the actuator to the device 100 . return image 3 The control valve 110 may be a conventional rotary control valve known in the art, for example, a ball float valve of similar construction to the ball float valve 10 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 . As known to those of ordinary skill in the art, valve body 112 includes an inlet, an outlet, and a flow path extending between the inlet and the outlet. The rotary valve stem 116 extends along a longitudinal axis A and includes a top 120 an...

Abstract

A valve arrangement may include a control valve including a valve body having an inlet, an outlet and a flow path. A rotary valve stem extends along a longitudinal axis, the valve stem may have a top and a bottom, and the valve stem is operably coupled to a control element movably disposed in the flow path. A yoke may be attached to the valve body and arranged to operably couple the valve body to the actuator, the yoke comprising a first bracket having an aperture and a second bracket having an aperture. The bushing may be arranged to align the actuator shaft of the actuator with the longitudinal axis of the valve stem, the bushing having a first part and a second part, the first part engaging in the bore of the first bracket and the second part engaging Holes for the second bracket.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to fluid control devices, and more particularly, to rotary fluid control valves. Background technique [0002] It is well known that power plants, process plants such as oil refineries, chemical plants or pulp and paper mills consist of several process control loops connected together to produce various products and control fluid flows. Fluid control valves are placed in process control loops and typically employ a control element such as a valve plug, disc, ball, or other suitable control element in order to manipulate fluid, such as gas, steam, water, or chemical compounds, through the system. [0003] In general, various control valve configurations may be particularly suited for particular applications. For example, a rotary control valve such as a butterfly valve can be used when a quick opening valve with a narrow control range is suitable. In any configuration, such control valves are typically coupled to a contr...
