Abstract

The invention discloses application of quail eggs and quail egg ovomucoid in resisting allergy. Passive cutaneous anaphylaxis of a rat PCA (Passive Cutaneous Anaphylaxis) model is researched to find that the quail eggs and the active ingredient ovomucoid thereof have an antiallergic effect. An HMC-1 cell line is used for researching the influence of the active ingredient ovomucoid in the quail eggs and an allied chemical antiallergic medicine on mast cell degranulation, and shows that the active ingredient ovomucoid in the quail eggs and the chemical antiallergic medicine are combined to havea synergetic antiallergic effect.
