The method comprises: first authentication information sent by a client is obtained, wherein the first authentication information is generated by the client according to first authorization information and the first authorization information is authorization information that is inputted by a target userand is received by the client; an identity identifier of the target user is obtained and second authorization information is determined based on the identity identifier of the target user; a first session key and the second authentication information are generated based on the second authorization information; and if the first authentication information is detected to match the second authentication information, a safety channel with the client is established based on the first session key. Therefore, when communication with the client is needed, the safety channel with the client is established and thus the client does not need to have the safe key storage capability, so that key leakage by the client is avoided and the channel safety problem is solved.
