Abstract

The invention discloses an equipment fault alarm method. The method is executed in computing equipment and is suitable for determining an alarm level of to-be-monitored equipment according to monitoring index values, collected in real time, of the to-be-monitored equipment, wherein the monitoring index value collected at each moment serves as one data point, multiple data points form a time domaincurve of monitoring indexes, the time domain curve is divided into multiple trend segments, each trend segment comprises a starting point, an ending point, a highest point and a lowest point, and theending point of the last trend segment is the starting point of the next trend segment. The method comprises the steps that the monitoring index value collected at the current moment is used as one data point and added into the current trend segment; the deterioration level of the current trend segment is determined according to the highest point and the lowest point of the current trend segment;the risk level of the current trend segment is determined according to the data points of the current trend segment and the data points in predetermined time prior to the current trend segment; and the alarm level of the to-be-monitored equipment is determined according to the deterioration level and the risk level.
