Abstract

The invention discloses a gas discharge tube, an overvoltage protection device and a method for manufacturing a gas discharge tube. The gas discharge tube comprises an insulation base, at least one first electrode and a second electrode. The first electrode is arranged in a sealing-in area of the insulation base; and each first electrode penetrates the corresponding sealing-in area and the insulation base. The second electrode is arranged at one side, approaching the first electrode, of the insulation base. The insulation base includes a first sealing-in surface. The main body structure of thesecond electrode includes a second sealing-in surface that is arranged at one side of the insulation base and is opposite to the first sealing-in surface. The first sealing-in surface and the secondsealing-in are in a sealing-in relationship; and the main body structure, the first electrode, and the insulation base are sealed to form a cavity structure. Therefore, a problem that the wall of theexisting integrated gas discharge tube is exposed in a discharge gap and thus the impedance drop and even a shot-circuit failure occurs frequently can be solved; and thus the anti-lightning-strike stability of the gas discharge tube is improved and the service life of the gas discharge tube is prolonged.
