Abstract

The means is a wake-up circuit including a first comparator coupled to the input signal and configured to compare the input signal to a first comparison value. The wake-up circuit includes a second comparator coupled to the input signal and configured to compare the input signal to a second comparison value. The wake-up circuit also includes an exclusive OR gate. A first input of the exclusive OR gate is coupled to the output of the first comparator. A second input of the exclusive OR gate is coupled to the output of the second comparator. The wake-up circuit also includes a tunable charge pump coupled to the output of the XOR gate and configured to convert the signal from the XOR gate to a DC value to wake up the circuit being monitored.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims U.S. Provisional Application Serial No. 62 / 278,899, filed January 14, 2016, entitled "Wake-up Detector for RadioModule," filed February 3, 2016, entitled "Wake-up Detector" Benefit of U.S. Provisional Application Serial No. 62 / 290,880 and U.S. Patent Application Serial No. 15 / 139,756, filed April 27, 2016, entitled "Wake-up Detector," which is expressly incorporated herein by reference in its entirety . technical field [0003] The present disclosure relates generally to communication systems, and more particularly to circuitry for radio modules or other electronic modules that wake up from low power modes. Background technique [0004] In some cases, it may be advantageous to power down a circuit when the circuit is not in use. Powering down the circuit when it is not in use can conserve battery power. In some examples, saving battery power can result in longer battery life. In other examp...
