According to the method, the position of the to-be-detected area in the to-be-detected image can be determined by utilizing the position information of the pre-selected area in the standard image, and under the condition that the image feature of the to-be-detected image is inconspicuous, the to-be-detected area still can be correctly selected from the to-be-detected image according to the position information, so that the correctness of selecting the to-be-detected area is greatly improved.
