Abstract

Disclosed is a synchronizer for a transmission for synchronizing a rotating shaft with a shifting gear rotatably mounted on the rotating shaft. The synchronizer comprises the following components: a hub which is spline-coupled to an output shaft; a sleeve which is installed on the outer circumference of the hub; a gearshift and a clutch gear which are integrally and rotationally installed on the output shaft; a synchronizer ring which is coupled to a cone unit of the clutch gear conical clutch; a ball pin which is disposed between the sleeve and the hub in order to set a neutral position of the sleeve; reduction members which can be formed at both sides of a groove on the inner circumferential surface of the sleeve in order to operate the same with the ball pin so as to reduce a movement speed in the axial direction of the sleeve.
