Abstract

The invention provides a method and system for estimating the field intensity of equipment-on-satellite-surface of a communication satellite. The method comprises the following steps: (1) establishinga transmitting antenna-channel identification matrix; (2) performing push saturation operations one by one; (3) determining values of elements in the transmitting antenna-channel identification matrix, push saturation power, and field intensity probe reading corresponding to a push saturation channel; (4) calculating conversion factors; (5) determining the minimum and maximum conversion factors;(6) calculating minimum and maximum field intensity values during push saturation of all channels of a repeater corresponding to each transmitting antenna; and (7) estimating the minimum and maximum field intensity values at the equipment-on-satellite-surface during the push saturation of all channels corresponding to all antennas. By adoption of the method and system provided by the invention, the problem that actual data cannot be directly obtained by a test is solved, and the problems of low accuracy, low efficiency and high cost resulting from the complete dependence on a simulation resultand the deviation from the test data are also solved.
