Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide a channel access method and a channel access device. The channel access method is applied to a network system comprising at least one access point and a pluralityof stations which are in communication connection, wherein the plurality of stations connected with the same access point form a plurality of station groups. The channel access method comprises the steps of: broadcasting a beacon frame by the access point, wherein the beacon frame comprises target identifiers of currently active station groups; after the beacon frame is received by the station needing to transmit data in each station group, judging whether the station group to which the station belongs is the currently active station group according to the identifier of the station group to which the station belongs and the target identifiers; if it is judged that the station group to which the station belongs is not the currently active station group, waiting, by the station needing to transmit data, to receive a beacon frame transmitted by the access point again; and if it is judged that the station group to which the station belongs is the currently active station group, competing for a channel according to a preset rule by the station needing to transmit data, so as to access the channel to perform data transmission.
