Abstract

The adsorbing material is activated fiberglass cotton, and the preparation method thereof comprises the following steps: under a stirring condition, slowly dropwise adding concentrated sulfuric acid with the volume percentage of 98% into an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution with the volume percentage of 30% to prepare a piranha solution, wherein the volume ratio of the concentrated sulfuric acid to the aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution is7:3; then, adding fiberglass cotton, reacting at room temperature for 24 hours while stirring, taking out, washing by using ethanol, and drying in a drying oven to obtain the activated fiberglass cotton. The adsorbing material has a good effect of adsorbing benzenes, and for different benzenes, the aniline adsorbing efficiency is up to 63%.
