Abstract

The invention provides a train active safety protection system based on ultra-wideband technology. The train active safety protection system based on the ultra-wideband technology comprises two trainvehicle-mounted devices, a UWB device, a microcomputer interlocking monitoring system and a ground monitoring center. The two train vehicle-mounted devices are separately arranged at the front and rear ends of the train, the train vehicle-mounted devices comprise positioning units, vehicle-mounted hosts and train controllers. The positioning units are used for positioning the train and communicating, and the vehicle-mounted hosts are used for monitoring the real-time accurate distance between the train and other vehicles and between the train and a ground fixed node device. The UWB device is connected to the train vehicle-mounted devices for communicating with the train through UWB signals and measuring distance through a TW-ToF mode and outputting distance data with the train. The UWB device is further connected to the ground monitoring center for data transmission. The ground monitoring center comprises a monitoring center server for generating accurate position data of train according to the distance data output by the UWB device.
